EME and UniLaSalle undergo a merger process

Thursday January 11, 2018

This merger is the result of a shared vision: a mutual understanding of the challenges facing the world and a firm commitment to the values, principles and objectives of sustainable development.

The École des métiers de l’environnement (EME) and the Institut Polytechnique UniLaSalle are joining forces to unite their efforts in support of an effective, rapid ecological transition. They have embarked on a merger process that will take effect in March 2018.

Why merge? Because our complementary expertise and experience means that we are ideally placed to work together to address a wide range of issues: protecting and making effective use of natural resources, embracing the circular economy model and exploring questions of bioeconomics in our regions.

A school that is firmly committed to a sustainable world

Together, we are determined to provide our students with programs that fulfill the primary purposes of education: training up responsible citizens, raising their awareness of global issues and giving them the tools they need to tackle the major challenges that lie ahead. We want to equip them to embrace the ecological, energy and digital transitions. We are fully committed to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and we welcome the ambitions set out in the Charter adopted by the French Conférence des Grandes Écoles in 2003.
